...as bitching on a very sensitive thread is not a good idea.

a) I have already explained my position on the thread in question.

b) Nothing wrong with my arguments. Bloody sight more sensible than some on here. And they don't come from up my backside, being as my head isn't there. Unlike some.

Both were told by a deaf old pathologist of my youth.
He never switched his hearing aid on,so,at lunchtime the senior physician used to tap his breast pocket and ask 'switched on Ford?'
As a pathologist he didn't need to talk to his patients.

Oh, that's a good one - haven't heard it before! grin

(or if I have, I've forgotten...)

Expected outcome of this thread: Get my righteous indignation off my chest. grin

Never expected more than about two replies. Well, expected quick deletion really.

Posts crossed - reading this thread to our guests- and we are laughing our heads off jingl... so pathetic (your words) it is hilarious.

Toodle pip.

I wish I hadn't made a spelling mistake in the title of this thread. It glares at me every time I see it. hmm

Funnily enough, I'm fine in caves. They are usually so nicely lit. Always a bit worried there will be a loss of electricity though! shock Total darkness. Eeek!

rosesarered Thu 02-Jul-15 14:00:17

going down any sort of mine is not my idea of a great day out.

granjura Thu 02-Jul-15 13:58:39

Rude can be good, in some contexts- but nasty for the sake of nasty, no, not really, that is not on, in my book. And it clearly has not place on this Forum either- the netiquette is quite clear enough.

Leave you to it- life is too short and it is a beautiful day. Waiting for it to cool a bit before going for a beautiful wild flower walk.

But the question does remain, and is unanswerd- what was the point of this thread, and what was the expected outcome?

Anya Thu 02-Jul-15 13:57:13

Been down a Welsh slate mine a few years ago.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 02-Jul-15 13:56:57

Granjura. Dig deep. See if you can find a small vestige of a sense of humour.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 02-Jul-15 13:56:13

What nasty and rude comment granjura? Genuinely confused
