You caught me at a bad time. We had been out for lunch, and the meal wasn't up to scratch. So I had to (mildly and politely) complain. I hate complaining. So when I saw your email, something pinged because I was already feeling slightly het up.
There is nothing at all wrong with having a huge ego, of course. I am all for it.
