Using gransnet on a kindle fire hdx?

I noticed that I often cannt seem to fill in bits which need filling in as I cannt go to the "next line".
Also I cannt seem to see gransnet profiles anymore which I always could on my previous kindle which was a kindle fire hd.
The other annoying thing is when I search for something it takes me to "mumsnet", not much use when searching for something like daughter in law problems!
Does all this mean that gransnet and kindle fire are not compatible?
Am I the only one who uses a kindle fire and has problems or is there a thread I haven't been able to find as it takes me to mumsnet, good site that, takes me back to when I was young and sooo active!

garden I have a KIndle Fire HDX and have no problem using it for GN. I never use the search function on GN, it doesn't work very well.

're getting to the "next line" do you mean when filling in e.g. competition forms? Surely you just tap or touch where you want the cursor to be positioned.

Getting to the next line as in scrolling down the screen to get there but the screen doesnt move, is an almost new kindle as well ggrrr
just had brainwash...mayday, why didnt i think of that before, they might be able to sort it, hopefully...

Instead of clicking on people's name, there are now three dots, which everyone else except me knows about. Long live the mayday system !!
