Hello, I know this has been extremely frustrating for you all so thanks for your patience.
We've had a long meeting with tech this morning so we can give you as much detail as possible.
As you know, the hacking incident (thank you Jeffrey) on Mumsnet was a very unlovely time but fortunately Gransnet was not targeted. However, tech did make immediate improvements on both sites' security and they have been working on making them as robust as possible.
Tech has told us that profiles on Gransnet will be up and running by mid next week (possibly sooner). Tech has also told us that, unlike MN, the content of ours will not be deleted <yay and 
to them>.
That is really all we know at this stage but if anything new crops up we'll let you know asap.
