I read that Guide dogs are trained to poo on command and pee over grids in the gutter. I don't know if it's true and possible but if it is why doesn't everyone do that. My dd always wanted a dog . Then we saw in New York dog poo which was runny being scooped up by hand with a vigilant policeman watching You could see the finger marks. I still can and I need some of the Mumsnet brain bleach.

I believe it's the dogs job to clean it up, they have paws wink

Oh I can't name and shame...

Obviously you don't want people to know where you liv Kat (!) but that council should be named and shamed.

We could all email them, with our thoughts.

Good lord! Who told you that Kat? Yes, I know it makes sense to help ourselves when it comes to avoiding danger, like clearing up broken glass and so on. But clearing up other people's dog mess? That's a step too far in my book.

The community of dog owners.

I agree...except I was told I should be picking it up too if I was so annoyed about it getting stuck on my pram wheels, even though I don't even own a dog! <rant over> grin

The question mark should be a full stop.

Sorry to be bossy. Not

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 28-Jan-16 11:50:40

You should put that on the thread Kat. You lot folks don't join in half enough these days.

Yes, I know you're busy! hmmhmmhmm

Synonymous Thu 28-Jan-16 11:50:24

The dog is a poo producer so if you are the one feeding the pooch you are the one who should be clearing it up when it comes out the other end! No brainer! hmm

The community of dog owners.

KatGransnet (GNHQ) Thu 28-Jan-16 10:05:16

That would be quite a sight grin

I've had this issue where I live...I've been told it's the responsibility of the community!!

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 28-Jan-16 10:01:29

In the "Discussions of the Day" box we have 'Dog poo - owner's responsibility' with a question mark!!!

Are you suggesting that perhaps the dog should clear it up? hmm
