Why can't thread titles be previewed?

It's when a title runs out of the end of the subject box. Then you can't see it all.

(I wouldn't follow it up though. You could get as confused as I am)

Well, you can't really. You can only see what you typed originally. In the message box. You can't see how the thread title will turn out in Actives.

Perhaps it's impossible. confused
