I joined in June 2011 after seeing a press report about GN and can hardly believe it's 5 years since. It has added a dimension to my life which I appreciate hugely so thank you to all at GNHQ and all GNers!

I see I joined in May 2011 too. May 5th is the anniversary of the day DH and I met. so instead of feeling miserable that he is no longer with me, I shall celebrate all the Gransnet friends I have made.

Granny 23 I wonder if other Gransnetters' meet-ups are as riotous as the Scottish and North-east granny ones that I recall – with great fondness, I may add.

I joined in May, 2011 having come over from the dark side (Mumsnet). I also attended the very first meet up in Glasgow along with Baubles, Soop, Bags, Marelli and Absent. I think most of us had different names then. It was amazing as each person appeared - as if Characters from a favourite book had suddenly become flesh and blood.

I joined in July 2012 and the following month went along to one of the first meet ups in Glasgow. Met some lovely people there and felt at home right away. Thank you for the friendship and support ever since then.

I think I joined shortly after Gransnet started but can't remember when. I did not post anything until way after though. Just stalked for a very long time!

I think ( can't really remember) I joined about 3 Years ago, and one of my early threads was about the joys of cheese on toast, which to my surprise ran for a few pages. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ( a few days early) to Gransnet.????
