It is so irritating isn't it? But I don't get it on my laptop (adblock) which is what I normally use for GN. It's if I check GN on my iPhone that I see it, and I end up hovering my thumb over the flashing number. GNHQ please get rid of this!

Yes ! The fact it looks like FB is obviously meant to be the attraction.
I came out of GN in the hope that when I returned it would be gone. No such luck angry

Instead of the usual ads, I'm getting a really annoying blue box with a world globe (among other things) a flashing red number1 on it, I think it's sort of meant to look as if it's an inbox with a message in it

In the course of trying to make it go away, the damn thing opened and it seems to be some sort of "survey" hmm with the chance to win a £500 Tesco voucher, and asks for your mobile number,which of course I did NOT give!

A scam, methinks, but what is it doing on my GN screen? confused
