Have you got an advert for Fairy in your main page sidebar?
A poor little baby is sleeping dressd in what looks like plastic outfit like superman.
I think it's cruel.

There isn't a sidebar on the mobile site, which is what I always use.

TriciaF Tue 02-Aug-16 14:35:11

Here it is:
www.supersavvyme.co.uk/tag/fairy-non-bio

I don't think it is plastic, looks like toweling or felt, I doubt he was bothered. I dob't get sidebar ads as I use adblock which stops most adverts.

It looks like soft blanket material to me.

I've got ad-block plus and don't get adverts.

ninathenana Tue 02-Aug-16 15:33:46

I agree, looks like felt

TriciaF Tue 02-Aug-16 15:46:41

I still don't like it and wonder, what's the point?

tanith Tue 02-Aug-16 15:52:56

I don't really see the point either but the babies fast asleep and looks totally comfy so he/she's not bothered what he's got on.

That`s the ad I had last week, which stopped me accessing Gransnet for a whole evening, whatever I clicked on I got that ad full screen.

GandTea Tue 02-Aug-16 17:54:47

TriciaF, the point is that you noticed and remembered the advert and the produce, exactly what the advertisers intended. Some of the most successful ads are the ones people hate, like that horrid guy in tight shorts.

wot Tue 02-Aug-16 17:57:39

That revolting Agubosi guy. I don't remember what he is advertising just that he seems a noisy idiot!

BlueBelle Tue 02-Aug-16 17:57:43

No adverts on mine but I don't like this stuff much and I don't know why they put tiny babies in denim material it so thick and hard

Riverwalk Tue 02-Aug-16 18:05:01

He's sleeping on his front! shock

GandTea Tue 02-Aug-16 18:08:40

He ?? Wouldn't want to crease his cape, would he ??

Why can't this be a girl, let's not be sexist ladies (been wanting to say that for years smile)

Indinana Tue 02-Aug-16 18:25:50

Never mind the baby. The text at the side says "I use this everyday", instead of "I use this every day". Grrr angry

GandTea Tue 02-Aug-16 19:17:26

Indinana, you really are getting drawn in to the advertisers lair, reading an advert that carefully is rather sad, must be more interesting things to read. Apparent mistakes in adverts are another ploy to get you to remember them, along with many other subtle tricks.

Indinana Tue 02-Aug-16 19:26:54

I only post comments like that to get noticed. It worked! grin

GandTea Tue 02-Aug-16 21:07:05

grin

I've just remembered an easy way to get rid of the adverts - hold down Ctrl and turn the wheel of the mouseaway from you.
The writing becomes HUGE!

Ginny42 Sat 06-Aug-16 22:39:52

Oh wow! I didn't know about Adblock. I've just installed it and ads disappeared from my email server's page immediately. Thank you! You learn something every day. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:50:41

Oh yeah!

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 22:51:22

(that was to TriciaF)

in very large letters.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 06-Aug-16 23:07:37

Shhhh! Don't confess to having Adblock. The site needs adverts donchaknow?!

merlotgran Sat 06-Aug-16 23:12:16

I think I have a built in Adblock in my brain. I never notice them.

TriciaF Sun 07-Aug-16 14:54:16

It's reappeared on my page.hmm
Looking at it again, I think it's been photoshopped. Both the body shape he's lying on, and the outfit superimposed on the baby's body.
