Evidently the DM regularly use Mumsnet threads in their newspaper.
As I don't regularly read the DM online I hadn't noticed this.They do like to cause trouble.
Just shows how careful we should be about what we write on here.

tricia I've known that for a long time (about being careful) not because of the DM but because this is a public forum and it comes up in searches when the subject has been on a thread.

The DM also uses material from this forum (and so does GNHQ).

The business model of these forums will not support a closed forum. I'm on a closed Mums&Grans group on Facebook which is very nice and it is local to my area, so that's where alternatives might be found.

I once saw sentences I had written on a GN thread incorporated into the text of an article in the DM. Plagiarism?
