Calling all grandparents from Leicester(shire)!

They contacted me and I put them onto HQ as I am away last week. I would just say if your are thinking of going its a great experience at BBC Leicester - they look after you well and are very friendly. Their offices are close to the shops so you can have some retail therapy too.

We've had a lovely request from BBC Radio Leicester ahead of their mid-morning show with Jonathan Lampon on Tuesday 13 September.

They will talking about grandparents being encouraged to become lollipop men/women, primarily to be a part of their grandchildren’s school run and to help with road safety.

Are you local to the area? Fancy having a chat on the radio next week about this topic? You don't have to be a lollipop man/woman to do this, but you must be a grandparent.
