You warned me that the next time I was reported you would bar me. I have just had a post deleted.

Time to click?

I think I've heard the name Tony Hancock. Wouldn't recognise him though.

trisher Mon 10-Oct-16 13:40:35

Oh did you give an armful? Did you watch Keef when he took over BBC 4. Showed Hancock. Great!

Wobblybits Mon 10-Oct-16 13:23:50

I cannot believe that anyone of our vintage has not heard of Tony Hancock and East Cheam, couldn't give blood (when I did) without thinking of him.

Jalima Mon 10-Oct-16 12:12:41

Although for years I thought it was 'East Sheen' which is a real place grin

Jalima Mon 10-Oct-16 12:11:29

thatbags Mon 10-Oct-16 11:35:20

I've never heard of East Cheam. Heading googlewards when I've pressed the post button.

Jalima Mon 10-Oct-16 11:30:25

I thought Barking WAS the end of the universe? Or am I confusing it with MK?
I think that privilege belongs to East Cheam

Jalima Mon 10-Oct-16 11:25:02

You know that feeling when you read the words, and you are still none the wiser?

Scarred for life that's me ate all my crusts and all I ever got was a fat bum sad

WilmaKnickersfit Sun 09-Oct-16 23:41:09

wot you said a bad word! shock Don't you mean rat's bum? grin

Heely is the end piece of bread and crust is the bit on the edges of the rest of the loaf. Eating your crusts does not make your hair curl. It's a lie. A big fat lie. A terrible thing to say to a little girl who wants curly hair. Scarred for life. Harrumph (or words to that effect).
