Yes wot have just thought may have been an insensitive question and went straight to the kitchen. No wasted food have teenager and a rechargeable cordless greyhound..
But all the slices except the end slice have less crust so the heels are the mostest crusts, so crusts, like what I said (and so did my parents, so blame them ).
I've always called the slices that make thick sandwiches doorstep slices because they are thick like doorstep stones. Perhaps the whole sandwich, made of doorsteps and a filling, is a doorstop.
What do you call the end of the loaf? I call it the crust; most Scots call it the heel.
I've been here from the start 2011and my special talent is killing threads. Shall I try here? I always thought those sandwiches were doorstOps not doorsteps .
