It may not be a criticism of the "Kitchen" itself, although it is described as divisive but it is a fairly damning indictment of some of the people who post regularly there.
Phrases such as "crafty enough to slip the halo back in place" or "nasty vitriolic stuff" can only be read one way, and "a good old flounce with another username in the back of the wardrobe" omits to mention that if a member leaves because of snide criticism by other named or unnamed persons, they are obliged by GN to change their username
So, yes I have read it carefully and if it is designed to be a valedictory salvo before this contentious thread bites the dust it has probably achieved its aim.
Speaking as someone who left GN because of one snide and cutting remark too far and returned with another username (as obliged to) perhaps I am one of the targets, but I make no apology for changing my username as there is no alternative. How often does that have to be explained?
