I do think you may be on a loser between husband and wife though, things go on that you can't know about and their relationship is as it is. So really if you think about it unless either come to you for advice you must simply be a by stander just as we all are with our siblings and their other halves.

I could get away for a break by myself but begrudge the expense. "Partner" loves to have my house to himself! I went to Hull by myself and loved it....all the museum etc. Last year this was.

Her hubby must be what they call an "enabler". He loves her too much for her own good. He used to bash her about and then joined her in her Christianity and has become too "caring" for her. Tough love needed, I think.

Not unreasonable I would feel very let down as well.

I would feel very angry with the husband for buying her cakes whe she is already overweight as it seems as if he is making "my sisters" health worse.

I would feel angry and let down by what must really seem to be very selfish behaviour on their part.

Well, I have 2 older sisters one of whom nearly destroyed me many years ago, I truly wish I could let it go , have had numerous 'therapies'.

It would seem that although a poster can be banned by the 'powers that be'.
it would be difficult to stop the 'band person' reappearing.
As long he/she uses a new Email and GN name, they would be under the GNHQ radar
So nobody can actually be banned.
The most GNHQ can do is force a new GN name.

They can be welcomed on the New members thread
And then either drop hints or inadvertently give themselves away at later date.
