Bookmarks and saving.

Can I just ask about these? Using an iPad, my finger hovers as I scroll up and I get a bookmark sign. Trying to remove one of these by tapping it again, I have apparently saved the post which was not my intention. I have two questions. Firstly, where is the post saved to and secondly can I 'unsave' it?

It is to enable you to come back to that point next time you visit the thread - saves loads of scrolling on a long thread. If I bookmark I get a thing like a ribbon (it's perhaps something special but that what it looks like to me.) It isn't saved anywhere. I think if you tap on it again it will disappear

You havent saved it to anywhere - just to come back to - unless I've been saving stuff to somewhere and don't know about it.confused

I've tried to make it disappear but it doesn't, so I lied about that!! blush

Kitty, I have just saved your last post!, how I did that was to hold on the bookmark. It then says saved! I went off the thread and back again but it still said saved. No probs. really, I was just intrigued as to where I would find it. Is it a quirk of the iPad do you think?
