Irritating pop up

Thanks. I generally log out once I have looked. I suppose that I could stay logged in,but I have just done 10days where I haven't even looked. Often I just look without logging on.

I get them when using my mobile .... and I have ticked the 'keep me logged in' box. They are at the top of the phone and irritate me so much I usually leave the site.

Hi there - that's one of our sliders we have for those who are visiting the site. If you tick the 'keep me logged in' box when you log in, you shouldn't see these sliders.

Anyone else irritated by coming onto the site and getting the purple pop up saying 'have you registered ' (or something similar)?
I often come on and just look- I only log in if I want to comment.
Sometimes it comes up more than once and it is simpler to log on than keep removing it. Why do we need it?
