you could always start a thread Granny23 'asking what memories have you of your grandparents' Im sure you would get a good response.

I am really enjoying all the memories of Grandparents and would love to respond to some of them but feel that I should not as it is not a normal thread but rather a competition.

I wonder if, once the competition element is over (end of October) these wonderful memories could be preserved and opened up to comments?
