trouble posting

Anyone else having trouble posting? Any posts I write will not go. I have had to copy my post, reload the page then put it back in, works OK then.

I've just had trouble again. Had to try 4 times to get something to post. I am using an Ipad, and it just freezes or greys out. Post did get through after 3/4 tries

I have had trouble to day when I access Gransnet through Internet Explorer but Ok through BING

I m with Safari and have had no problems I do think it must be down to the server otherwise we d all have problems

strangely I am having problems again today. Back on the first pc BUT they are both Apples and running Safari. Can't preview message either. I am copying every message now before pressing post in case I lose it.

I'm having problems posting too. Using Safari on an iPad I kept losing a fairly longpost with photographs. It eventually worked without the photos which I still can't post.

So it's not the server as I m on safari on iPad and not had any problems so far

Hi folks! So we think we are making headway with this (...she says, with fingers tightly crossed).

The tech team think that some of you might be using outdated versions of iOS and Safari, which could well be the reason why you're having trouble posting. They tested it out on older versions and were having the same problem, but each time they used the latest version of both, things seemed to work fine.

Would you all be able check the versions of iOS and Safari you're using please? You can find the version of Safari (if, in fact, you are using Safari) here: whatversion.net/safari

This afternoon, trouble posting seemed to be when I had cogitated over what to write, and it wouldn't go. So 'copied' my post, exited GN, came back and 'pasted', and it went through. Maybe it doesn't like long drawn out thoughts?

So far posting from the imac (without the latest update because I havent dared install it yet!) is perfect, the ipad on the other hand continues to struggle.
