Get you with your fish supper! It's a deep fried Mars Bar for me and the auld man.

annodomini Tue 29-Nov-16 11:34:47

Still sorry tbgrin

annodomini Tue 29-Nov-16 11:34:16

Sorry [bgrin]

annodomini Tue 29-Nov-16 11:33:58

Better than nothing, Cari. But a thistle or a saltire would be even better. Don't make me have to post about it again! grin

Cari once the Thistles in the System, you can bring it out again for 25th January.
Although a 'wee tammie man' may be more appropriate. tbwink

Cherrytree59 Tue 29-Nov-16 10:24:52

Oops I get it now!
A biscuit with a tammie on. tbblush

Candlefran Tue 29-Nov-16 10:22:16

"the last hour" (trying to knit etc)?!

Talk about leaving things to the last minute. What about the last year?

Cherrytree59 Tue 29-Nov-16 10:22:08

Suppose we could call him
Tam (O Shanter)

Why has he got a biscuit for a nose ?
tbbiscuit.

Agus Tue 29-Nov-16 10:17:58

Aha, that's where you are going wrong cari. Knitting heather doesn't miraculously turn into a thistle. 10/10 for effort though[grin

Agus Tue 29-Nov-16 10:06:02

tbbiscuit. Poor attempt

FarNorth Tue 29-Nov-16 10:00:30

Funny wee face with a tammie on. Nice tbconfused

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Tue 29-Nov-16 09:58:12

We have spent the last hour trying to knit some heather (and failing) so we got you these instead. tbgrin tbbiscuit

Granny23 Tue 29-Nov-16 09:56:56

HTH

Agus Tue 29-Nov-16 09:44:03

I will join you this year yet again in this request anno and still we are ignored.

Even a jaggy type purple flower would be acceptable GNHQ. HTH wink. Slainte

Cherrytree59 Tue 29-Nov-16 09:26:27

A thistle would be nice

Didn't we have funny wee face with a tammie on last year?
Or maybe I dreamt it?

J52 Tue 29-Nov-16 09:22:26

Yes, about time!

I can't even find a thistle on my emoticons, but there's a rose, daffodil and shamrock!

annodomini Tue 29-Nov-16 08:19:18

I bring this up ever year on November 30th - St Andrew's Day. You have symbols for the other home nations; we have countless Scots on Gransnet. Why are we left out? Couldn't we just have the Scottish saltire or even a thistle?
