Yes! Just allow one opportunity to correct a typo on your post.
I am on the Gardeners World forum (very good for gardening advice) and they allow about 5mins only to edit your post.

Thank you, I am sure I am not the only member who will welcome this and be spared the embarrassment of seeing their typos up there for all to see again and again on the Active Conversations page!

If I could have one wish it would be the ability to preview new thread titles so as to avoid silly typos like Anketrs when I meant Ankers blush
