Thinking about this site and what it means to you, which song would you choose to sum up how you feel about it?

Mine would be "I am woman" by Helen Reddy. Please check it out on YouTube as ironically I don't know how to link it. ?

We've gone a bit dark there, Leesa grin. I insisted on Don't Fear the Reaper as one of the songs to be played at our last birthday party, though DH said nobody would dance to it. I dragged a friend onto the dance floor and we stayed there, just the two of us, for the duration. It's a very long song....

There's a song called Sharks in the Swimming Pool, which is perfect for some threads grin.

For the rest, Let’s Face the Music and Dance. Let's help each other make the most of life while we can.

The verse that wanders around many English folk songs, with slight variations:
Oh time, it is a precious thing; And time brings all things to my mind; Time, with all its labours, along with all its joys; Let no-one steal away your time.

Those with a country upbringing or love of folk music will know the double meaning of time/ thyme (female pudenda) so there's a warning in there about only giving your time / thyme to someone who deserves it!
This is a link to the amazing Norma Waterson (where have the years gone?) singing one version with her family:

What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong sums it up for me. The many different experiences, views, backgrounds, personalities and yep, wisdom; it's all here on GN.
