Orange email closure

Hi everyone,

Just a quick heads up for any of you with an Orange (EE) email address. They are closing the service on 31st March, which means that anyone who is registered to Gransnet with an Orange email address will need to change it before that date.

There's more information about the closure here. In order to change your registered Gransnet email address, just make sure you're logged in and then click this link. You'll need to enter your alternative or new email address and then save...before the 31st! smile
UPDATE: The service will be closing on 31st MAY

It seems @orange.fr is OK. I haven't haven't any notification from Orange. Has anyone else with a .fr address?

Have not heard anything from @orange.fr - so I guess we will be all right , annifrance. My husband has a separate e-mail with orange.fr and he would have spotted any change.

Weird that the previous posts about orange.fr when I posted just now. I haven't heard anything either though I have been having trouble sending email in the last couple of days. Probably coincidence.

It is nothing to do with orange.fr. It is Orange UK which is changing to EE.

No it isn't a scam. Just orange becoming EE in the UK. It has been fairly widely reported.

I've had an fsmail.net address for decades (!) but changed to gmail a while back, because it wasn't very user friendly, so I'm not surprised they are closing it down.

Thanks for the heads up - I had an old freeserve address - 1749 unopened emails!! All jumk mail though! ?
