A Petition: Please can we have the old site layout back.

I dislike the new layout.

The font looks like a Times, Times New Roman, or Palatino type to me, i.e. really bog-standard.

I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about. It took me about a quarter of a minute to get used to the new format. It really isn't all THAT different from the old one.

HATE THIS FONT. ITS UNREADABLE!

I have not looked for a little while but when I looked this evening the thread headings looked the same as the names of posters (no differentiation) and the site kept crashing.

I have now managed to access it and, although I am not averse to change, it has to be for the better and this did new design did not seem to be better but worse.

I find the font fussy and much prefer the "sans" alternatives.
The layout achieves an odd combination of "bald" or minimalist and fussy (if that makes sense)
I liked the "old" masthead and while I can find threads easily enough I do wonder at how much has been spent on what IMO is a retrograde step

Can't do the white on white and pale grey, prefer it as it was
There are definitely improvements to be done but not the things that have been changed

I like the new font and size of the print, so don't feel I can sign the petition.

But there are so many little things wrong and no attempt seems to be being made to rectify them!

Me too, the new design is a huge step backwards.

Blimey, it's changed while I was out this afternoon. I was just getting fairly used to the dull grey and white and now find the "I'm on" has been changed. Really don't like it.

Not nearly as clear as it was so I too sign the petition.
