How to delete a thread

Cannot find any guidance on how to do this. In fact have never come across a How to page on G.N. Can anyone help please?

Use the Report button and ask GNHQ to delete the thread.

You can't. You make a request to GNHQ and they ask reasons & delete or refuse to delete.

If you think you have given too much personal information or for another valid reason you can request for your own thread to be deleted but not someone else's.
You can ask for any of your own posts to be deleted and GNHQ will do that for you (usually promptly).

You can request for someone else’s thread to be deleted if you think it breaks guidelines - it’s then up to HQ of course
