I do. Bookmark that is. Although I often forget so it would be nice if I could also automatically jump to my last post - if there is one. I stick to pages because my internet is so slow, and the latest page loads quicker than if I had to wait for the whole lot. Especially on long threads.

If people are on the 'pages' setting, can they still book mark?

No, not at all! I just mean that we use page formatting on our threads to help loading speed. Nothing to worry about smile

Hi kittylester. The reason we automatically have pages rather than one continuous thread is due to page loading speed. Separate pages helps to increase the loading speed - continuous threads would be a bit slow to load, especially if there are a lot of comments on them!

Hi HQ!!

I've just posted about 'pages' on jamside's thread and wondered why we have 'pages' rather than one continuous thread.

I'll feel really silly when someone tells me the reason but, currently, it's defeating me - though I have had the lurgy!

My settings are for 1 continuous page per thread and then I bookmark to see where I was last time.
