Finding previous posters

When a poster refers to a previous poster is there any easy way to find the post referred to? I find myself trawling through, sometimes without success, so I don't know what is referred to.

Sort for delay in replying Nina, yes, when it's long thread and suddenly someone says s'thg like yes I agree with Nina or isn't that ridiculous Newquay. . . . and then I can't easily find the original post! Frustrating! Could do with s'thg like a search button.

If it is on the same thread then what I do is choose the 100 posts per page option. Then I use the 'Find in page' option in my browser (it might be called something else in your browser) and search for the name your looking for.
