dont know that "british" guinness pie would be a welcome adition to an Irish menu .....Well done the boys in Green .We always celebrate Paddy's day ,no shamrock this year couldn't find any in our area at all .But we have had some great Irish music on the cd player and we'll have a whiskey after dinner .

A bit late Lara!
Ireland are going to win the rugby anyway, so there will be much celebrating later.shamrock

Looks like no one is celebrating poor st Patrick, me neither, but felt I had to acknowledge your post before it disappears from the active list.

To celebrate, we've got a shamrock in the emoticons list and in honour of Ireland v England in the rugby today, there's a rugby emoticon too.

Plus, if you're looking to make a traditional Irish feast, we've put together a page of Irish fare including British Guinness casserole, potato cakes, sweet treats and more... It's the right kind of weather for it! grin
