A colleague of mine has offered to look after my dog for 4 nights, I am almost sure she will not take any money off me,but I would like to offer some without offending her,(how much to offer is a problem) or if she refuses what do you wise ones think I should give her? My pooch is getting on and needs medication 3 times a day
This lovely lady is about 50, lives on her own, works as a nurse thank you

You could say how much you appreciate it and that it would cost you £x in kennels. As you would like to thank her in a tangible way would she prefer money or is there something she would really like instead?
If she refuses, then perhaps a £50 JL voucher or restaurant voucher?

What about a lovely bunch of flowers with a thank you card attached and £40 in with the card to spend how she wants. Lots of people would be embarrassed at being handed money if not done discretely. If you are not sure about the money then I'm sure the flowers and card will be appreciated.

My first thought were the same as the previous posters. The JL voucher or M&S rather than cash.

Thank you , I think a gift voucher and flowers are the answer.
