Can't add to discussions

Not even sure if I'll be able to post this, but here goes!

Since the hiccough this afternoon, where work was being done on the Privacy Policy, I've not been able to either preview posts or submit posts. Now to see if this will post!

As our GNCQ team know I have been badgering the team to get me back onto Gransnet which went when I tried to get my login back on my android on my tablet. We await a miracle. It appears that I cannot just switch the lever back.

Hello, so sorry about the issues some of you have had posting. It was an unrelated improvement <ahem> that happened at the same time as the cookies preference update. smile All sorted now so everything should all be working fine again. Do let us know if not though.

I tried a longer message on the Good Morning thread, no luck in posting after about four attempts.
Tied a very short one, that went through.
The Preview is not working either.
What’s going on please?

We're trying to get to the bottom of the issues. Hopefully some of the problems from yesterday will have been sorted by now but if there is anything ongoing, please post here (or email us at contactus) with as much detail as possible. Your browser (Chrome/Firefox etc), if you are accessing it via a laptop/tablet or mobile and if you are using an adblocker.

It worked! I had a problem yesterday as it wouldn't load. I felt that there was something technical going on - well beyond the remit of of my little brain!

Oh, and another thing - I always have the "keep me signed in" box ticked, but since all these hiccoughs started I've had to sign in on every device. And "accept" all the privacy policy stuff on every device too!

Still having trouble posting. Preview button not working at all. Sometimes, if I refresh my browser I'm able to post. These problems are occuring on all my devices - Windows laptop, iMac desktop, iPhone and iPad.

'Preview message' button definitely not working. Pressing it causes both Preview and Post buttons to grey out. I have to close my browser and reopen it to allow me to select 'Post message' once both buttons have been greyed out.

I've had several attempts at posting this evening. The 'Preview' button just greys out and does nothing. If anyone reads this, I have opted to 'Post' without previewing.
