Thank you for all of your reports. As you know we are a post-moderated site so we are reliant on your reports to alert us to these kinds of threads.
Like all social networking sites, we are prone to being targeted by trolls. When this occurs, it can sometimes be a coordinated attempt by trolls who post multiple threads at the same time. This makes things very busy for us and involves more work 'behind the scenes' that just deleting a comment. So while it might seem that GNHQ is being quiet - we're not, we're just busy trying to keep the trolls from the door.
Our reporting system defaults to include the comment that you've reported. We appreciate that some of the reported comments have been particularly crude recently and we hear your concerns about this. We are looking at ways of managing this better so please bear with us.
And, of course, please continue to report any posts/threads you are concerned about.
