Baggs, I think you’ve cracked it!
But, why can’t you preview and check, because that is precisely what I sometimes need to do, checking a name/ spelling etc?
Perhaps I should ask the techies. Do you think they are listening?

Once you've previewed your post you can't scroll back. If you don't preview it shouldn't be a problem.

Well just checking, and it seem OK now, but on a previous thread Urmstongran, I couldn’t see above the reply box. I know what you mean about the memory, that’s why I need to check.
I’ll go away now and drink my tea that has appeared ?

Don't forget, you can 'flip' a thread to get back quickly to the OP.

I can still scroll back on my iPad Auntieflo. - just as well as I often need to check the spelling of the OP! I did it for you now. - was it aunty or auntie??
