It's a bit of a jokey thing Bopeep the poster usually wants to write one thing but thinks its more polite or politic to put another. For example I could put
Bopeep has lost her ~~marbles~~ sheep.

Can someone please explain why some posts have lines through some of the text, as if they poster has tried to underline something but missed and crossed out instead.?
