I've been wondering why we can't do that, too, Kandinsky!

Can’t you hide entire topics on here like you can on Mumsnet? That way you never see anything posted in that particular topic.

joannapiano just follow the instructions given it’s simple and works.

Bathsheba Sun 28-Apr-19 08:45:47

I can see no way of deleting them.

joannapiano read the thread! The instructions for deleting them are given by SueDonim, right at the beginning!

I,too, am very tired of all the games. I only have an i pad, and a basic phone that is just a phone!
I can see no way of deleting them.

You can do exactly as SueDonim described grannyactivist. I have just done it on mine, the games links now all gone (you have to do them one by one).
Now just have to remember how to do it when new ones appear lol.

I can"t see one ga but it's easy to flip from one to the other and back.
I just went to desktop using my pbone.

Is there a way I can stop the games threads appearing on my laptop, or is it just the mobile sites that allow this?

SueDonim Sat 27-Apr-19 22:58:58

? Tanith

I don't think anyone wants to stop them crazyH, but can we just stop them breeding? grin

crazyH Sat 27-Apr-19 22:14:47

I love the games - please keep them coming

Bathsheba Sat 27-Apr-19 22:11:29

Cari is there no way GNHQ can cut these duplicates off at the pass? Just keep the first one and delete the subsequent ones?

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Sat 27-Apr-19 22:07:25

Yes, there's not much we can do about them appearing in active, but good point about starting new ones

Bathsheba Sat 27-Apr-19 22:01:15

There do seem to be more games threads than ever. Made worse by the fact that there are so many duplicates. I now see that one thread has THREE versions currently running.

You'd think it would be a relatively simple matter for the person who posts the 1000th post, thereby closing the thread, to be the one who starts the new one. But no, three people each start the new one ?

Thankyou so much SueDonim it made perfect sense to me ??

SueDonim Sat 27-Apr-19 20:50:24

Go right down to the bottom of the page, as far as you can go. Then click on 'mobile site'. Then open the threads you don't want, click on the little arrow at the top right hand side which then allows you to choose to 'hide this thread'.

Clear as mud? grin

Can someone remind me how to stop all the games appearing , I got rid of them once but now I’ve forgotten how I did it.
Thanks
