Another option, Judy54, to find a thread to which you have contributed, is to choose 'I'm on'.

judy54 the bookmark isn’t used to find the thread again; it’s to save a particular post within the thread. If you want to save the whole thread to find it again, then use the “watch this discussion” tab at the top, and it’ll be added to your ‘watching’ list.

Can anyone explain how you find the thread again once you have bookmarked it? I can't find saved bookmarks anywhere so must be doing something wrong. Thank you.

NanKate, I can only give you hints for the desktop site, but if you scroll to the very bottom of your iPad screen you can select 'desktop site' to follow my instructions then revert to mobile site, also at the very bottom.
Open any thread and you will see that at top and bottom on the right of the line where the page number is shown is an option to customise. Select yes to the question about bookmarks.
From then onwards you have only to hover over the bottom right of a post until it displays 'saved' or 'bookmark'. Click on the word and you will find next time you read the thread you will be taken to that point - very useful.
Sorry this sounds so involved. I waited for someone to answer simply but no joy!

Please GNHQ get the bookmarks working soon. I really miss them! They work on the mobile site but not on the desktop one.

Still no response from GNHQ, crazyH when the bookmark feature is working, you can hover over the bottom right hand corner of any post (usually the last one in a thread) and the word 'bookmark' appears. Click on it and that post is saved, so that next time you open the thread it will take you straight to that post.

Only at the moment it's not working. I miss it!
