OPs highlighted on green throughout the post - why do some people have this and not others?

I find the colours of posts vary between pink, white and green, whether I am on my phone or iPad.

Whatever I use, be it laptop, Kindle Fire tablet or Android phone, all OP's posts are in green and all mine are pink.

This has been raised several times SirChenjin never a really satisfactory response.

I still haven’t heard back from GNHQ despite chaser emails. Is it being ignored, I wonder?

On iPhone, iPad and Mac, the first, thread starter, post by the OP is green.

Any subsequent posts by the OP are white and I would like to see them in green as with the OP’s original post.

Everyone else’s posts are also white except my own which are pink.

OP’s subsequent posts are coloured on MN so come on GNHQ, please don’t tell us it can’t be done.

I thought it was the same for everyone. OPs posts have always been green and mine are pink. Makes it easier to see at a glance where you are in the thread. HQ posts are blue.

My post is pink using iPad other peoples are white and sometimes green

Both my phone and tablet are android and both have all OPs posts in green and all my posts in pink.

I get green and pink throughout on my iPhone in mobile mode. There’s no consistency, which is weird.

I’ve messaged GNHQ so hopefully they’ll update us soon.

On iPad and iPhone and both in mobile and desktop mode I only get the top post in green all subsequent posts are white Mine are all pink I thought we were getting an answer in November

They manage to have all the OPs posts highlighted, throughout the thread, on Mumsnet. So why not here?

That’s exactly it though - I can see the original post and all the subsequent posts they post in pink. Mine are all in green.

Other people don’t seem to have that function though, for some reason.

Using a tablet, initial post (call it OP or thread start?) is green.

Responses are all white, except for mine, which are pink.

I really wish that posts/responses/replies posted by the person who started the thread were shown/highlighted in some way (perhaps green, like the opening post) so that we can easily see that the person who started the thread has actually come back to reply or comment!

All of your posts are green Gin. All of my posts come up pink.
Having said that, I am sure that at some time in the past some Ops posts were green on the original post, then not highlighted at all.
I THINK I decided it was because I was not logged in at the time, was reading as a 'visitor'.
But I might be making that up.

This serves as a timely reminder to chase up GNHQ for a response

On my android phone only the OP's original post is green, the rest of the OP's posts are white. Please change it so that all of OP's posts are green.

Only the first post is green for me, and my own posts are pink. It would be nice if OP was green for each post.

On another forum I frequent, I can search by poster to see all their posts. That would be a handy feature.
