to post any story at all about Meghan and Harry no matter how lacking in evidence from whatever gutter source? Can they just be libelled by posts on GN because it’s open season on them and they therefore have no rights? Opinion is one thing but on here it’s now often inseparable from lies.

Good people do not want sexual relationships with children in the first place Alexa - wtaf??

lemongrove Mon 27-Jan-20 16:58:14

hmm

Alexa Mon 27-Jan-20 16:55:52

Is 'paedophilia' a legal definition of a crime? Some individuals would like to have sexual relations with a child but don't. These individuals may be called paedophiles and because they restrain their impulses they are good people.

Reasons for having sex with underage individuals include:
1) They take the risk of going to prison .
2) They don't know the legal age of consent
3)They feel entitled to a) break the law , or b) spoil a girl's life or c) both.
4) They believe the law is wrong and underage people enjoy sex with them and that is all that matters.

Gossip serves a practical purpose only when it illustrates general ideas. Tabloid copy sells because it is sensational not because it makes us think.

grin Callistemon

Callistemon Fri 24-Jan-20 19:52:38

Baggs thank you for that - the person who advised me to do it swore that she had never said such a thing when we all went to a Burns Supper a few years later.
I'm sure it was her but I wasn't going to argue. She might have poured her whisky over me instead

Callistemon Fri 24-Jan-20 19:50:48

Wee Willie Winky sausages
That sounds very rude SirChenjin tbgrin

Pantglas2 Fri 24-Jan-20 19:20:49

I’m impressed ladies, you’ve managed to silence a certain someone with your irreverence!

merlotgran Fri 24-Jan-20 19:00:05

Might there be a good reason for me declining her kind offer?

Now, Let me think.....tbhmm

MissAdventure Fri 24-Jan-20 18:57:15

Oh, I do love it when you lot are silly.

SirChenjin Fri 24-Jan-20 18:53:02

Merlotits - it just has to be your new name grin

Chewbacca Fri 24-Jan-20 18:46:53

Merlot do you think you'll be changing your name to merlotits now? It would be such a shame not to, especially as sooziewoozie chose it for you especially!

merlotgran Fri 24-Jan-20 17:54:43

GrannyGravy13 Fri 24-Jan-20 17:53:24

SirChenjin Fri 24-Jan-20 17:06:06

Or rub the raspberry yogurt and oatmeal on them merlotand give him a Burns night to remember grin

kittylester Fri 24-Jan-20 17:05:00

Dh proposed to me after a Burns Supper - he'd had a few whiskies by that stage - maybe he didnt mean it!

Baggs Fri 24-Jan-20 17:00:23

^At a Burns Supper once someone advised me that a tot of whisky should be poured on to the haggis on your plate.
Is this true or fake news?^

This has certainly been offered at Burns Suppers I've attended. I prefer my haggis, bashed neeps and champit tatties without whisky poured over them but, as someone else has already said, the 'rules' are flexible ?

GrannyLaine Fri 24-Jan-20 16:49:22

Give him a flash of those merlotits and he'll never notice the difference grin

SirChenjin Fri 24-Jan-20 16:39:37

Lucywinter grin

merlotgran Fri 24-Jan-20 16:25:57

DH is on a low fat diet so maybe I'll sprinkle some toasted oat flakes over his raspberry yoghurt. grin

GrannyLaine Fri 24-Jan-20 15:59:21

Much more interesting and relevant than the first part of the thread. I have a kind of yearning for Cranachan......... haven't given it a thought in years.

lucywinter Fri 24-Jan-20 15:55:16

Oh, yes I do!

lucywinter Fri 24-Jan-20 15:54:56
