Thanks welbeck, that's a good idea about clicking on Watch This Thread as well! smile

op,
bookmark where you read up to/ the current end of thread.
then scroll up and click orange box, watch this thread.
then when you want to find them again, under Gransnet forums heading, click on, watching.
you should be able to find them.

I find there's not much difference between 'I'm On' and Watching...

there won't be any difference if you are only interested in watching threads that you have contributed to, ie are on.

Thank you Pittcity! I shall go and experiment now! grin

Bookmarking only marks where you are up to in a thread. When you click on the thread you will go to your bookmark and not have to scroll through from the beginning.
Watching is a list of threads that you want to find easily. If you have made a comment on a thread these will be under "I'm on"

What is the difference between bookmarking and watching a thread?

I've gone into My G'net and ticked the bookmarking option, but can't work out how to locate bookmarked threads! ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคทโ€๐Ÿคฃ

Please be gentle with me for asking such a basic question! ๐Ÿ˜†
