Hello HQ,

I'm pretty sure that quite recently OP responses on threads were highlighted in green.

Did I imagine it, or did it actually happen?

Mobile via Safari. Only the initial post is green

Marydoll Thu 15-Oct-20 17:56:12

I use Chrome on my phone, tablet and desktop and only the initial OP post is highlighted in green.

By the way , it's doing that switching from mobile to desktop view and back again thing!

Esspee yes all OP posts show green

Maggiemaybe Thu 15-Oct-20 17:32:09

I’m on mobile, using Safari, and have never had subsequent OP posts highlighted.

Hmm, that's interesting. When we replicated the issue it was showing as unhighlighted on desktop, and green on mobile. It might be that it's alternating with different internet browsers.

Please can you let us know what browser you use to access the site, and we'll get our tech team to take a look. smile

Yep, white on my tablet, but were definitely green a few days ago!

Gremlins, NatashaGransnet??

Esspee Thu 15-Oct-20 17:10:17

monk. The original post is green for everyone. If the OP comes back with further information are these posts green?

Esspee Thu 15-Oct-20 17:08:08

I use an iPad, a Kindle and a phone - in all of these only the original post is green.

monk08 Thu 15-Oct-20 16:59:39

Mines desktop and OP always show green.

Lucca Thu 15-Oct-20 16:57:36

And op responses are just white on my iPad,

BlueBelle Thu 15-Oct-20 16:55:41

No natashaGransnet you are quite wrong I only ever use the mobile site and they are white

NatashaGransnet (GNHQ) Thu 15-Oct-20 16:54:36

Hi phoenix - currently the OP's posts show up highlighted green on the mobile site, but not on the desktop site, so this might be what the confusion is? smile

BlueBelle Thu 15-Oct-20 16:50:59

No There are no subsequent colours for me just the original post at the top of each page but all the original posters posts are white like everyone’s else’s Mine are pink

EllanVannin Thu 15-Oct-20 16:27:04

Just as well, to remind me what I said grin

3nanny6 Thu 15-Oct-20 16:19:58

Thank-you very much Marydoll at last I can stop trying to find ways of changing the ink colour.

Marydoll Thu 15-Oct-20 16:11:04

Your posts are only pink to you, no-one else!
Only the original OP post shows green to me.
Subsequent posts are the same as everyone else's.

3nanny6 Thu 15-Oct-20 15:28:22

Are you saying none of my posts look pink when they are printed on the threads? If so that's good.

phoenix Thu 15-Oct-20 15:09:42

I don't think you can stop your own posts being in colour, 3nanny6, and they only appear that way to the person who posted them EllanVannin

EllanVannin Thu 15-Oct-20 14:53:59

My own posts show up a purply/pink but not to everyone else it would seem.

3nanny6 Thu 15-Oct-20 14:53:59

My op responses come up in green.
My problem is my posts come up in pink and I am not very tech minded and have tried to stop my pink posts but cannot.
Help wanted if you can tell me .

They are a kind of bluey-grey on my screen, quite distinctive.
