I can’t post. Any help

Ever since the problems on GN today 23.2.21 I can’t post or reply on my iPhone. That means getting my computer out or borrowing DH’s phone.

Hi Deedi - when posting a photo on site it won't appear in the message box, but you can see the image you have selected underneath next to the 'Images: Choose file' buttons. You can also click 'preview message' to check to see what your post with images will look like before you click 'post message'.

You don’t need to drag it into the box. It will appear there when you post your comment.

Hello there think I might be highjacking this site (apologies)
I’m having trouble posting any photo or clip and for it to appear in the message box. I managed to ‘transfer’ a photo but it appears outside the ‘choose file’ box and I can’t cut & paste it/drag it into ‘the box’. Am good with techie stuff but I’m trying.
I’ve just tried again so how can I find out if it’s me or the Gransnet site?

They are giving me big trouble with my French .eu email address since Brexit. Luckily I set up a new one just before.

I've switched to desktop from mobile site as I can't post from there. Let's see if this site works.
I much prefer the mobile site for my tablet as it's much bigger.

So it would seem that the problem is only with Android devices using the mobile site.

Gransnet has found there is a problem since the private message mend yesterday so it may be that that’s causing you problems

I’ve tried:
Logging out and in again
Closing my phone and reopening
Clearing my browsing history and data, which means I have to log in to every site I usually have saved.

Still no joy.

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, (some things work on mobile site, others on desktop, so jumping from one to the other) I managed to log off and long on again on my phone. It didn't help.

I've tried to log out on my phone but I can't get into the menu to do so. It just blinks and the screen remains the same.

Have you tried logging out of GN, closing the browser or however it is you access GN, clearing the cache and then restarting the browser. I’m using an iPad, all working fine.

I have the same problem on my tablet which is what I use most. I have switched it off and on again, but it didn't help.

I had written two long posts and tried to send them before I realised that it wasn't just the wifi playing up.

Am now posting from my laptop. That is, if it works at all.

have you tried logging out and back in again.
the equivalent of if all else fails, kick it.
guess that's why it's called re-boot ?
