Server keeps crashing.

Good morning GNHQ, are you aware that over the last few days, the server has been frequently crashing and even if the server is working it can take two or three attempts to even preview.

I have put it down to people working from home during lockdown.
I don`t seem to have the problem during the evening.

I emailed last night in sheer frustration (couldn't open the 'Contact us' link) a problem which went on all afternoon and evening and today it is sporadically slow.
All the more upset as the GM thread today had rapid fire postings while I couldn't move off the page!

No problems here, but I do have a superfast unlimited broadband. I needed it because I worked from home for the last 18 years ?

Same here Marydoll crashed again this morning and for some time its been difficult to use. I can't always access a thread have to make two or more attempts. Same with preview, it's annoying.

Apologies to all for the inconvenience - and thanks for letting us know via Site Stuff and the reports.
We're continuing to investigate the source of the site problems - there may be a problem with one of our hosting suppliers - they're also taking a look under the bonnet.
We'll let you know when we hear more.
