Ha ha ha, threatening to leave has done the trick.

silverlining48 Wed 14-Jul-21 17:22:16

I have tried to reply 3x now with no success, that moo keeps on moving . Am about to give up, but here we go.....

GrannyGravy13 Wed 14-Jul-21 13:35:12

I often get the moo message.

Posting on any thread is becoming increasingly difficult.

silverlining48 Wed 14-Jul-21 13:24:22

HURRah!

silverlining48 Wed 14-Jul-21 13:24:02

Thanks Muse, i don’t use the search facility, but the large cartoon cow appears with its moo message when posting on an existing thread.
Not always, but often enough. Fingers crossed this posts.

muse Wed 14-Jul-21 12:21:52

This is what I get silverlining48

muse Wed 14-Jul-21 12:16:04

I get the moo message but only when I’ve looked fur something or someone through the search facility. When I follow the links up comes the cow.
It’s only recently though. No problems before. I’ll report it and see what happens.

No cow when posting though.

Does anyone else get the Moo message which I mentioned upthread? As Calistemon says spending time on a post and having it not send is annoying. I try to keep them short these days, just in case.

Callistemon

Several times lately I've typed out an erudite post, in a wish to impart my extensive knowledge to any interested parties ? only to find it will not post.

Oh me too! A great loss to GN, as are your posts grin

Fennel Wed 14-Jul-21 11:55:39

That often happens to me too Callistetemon.I just save the message, close the forum and restart. to give it a rest.
I hope 1AMis able to re-register - we miss you!

What I want to know is whether there are videos available to those of us who do not live near enough to be able to stand outside at midnight?

That is in the hands of Iam's agent, kittylester. There may also be a tour in the autumn if HQ don't restore her ability to post. She has to fill her evenings somehow.

Kim19 Wed 14-Jul-21 10:58:04

I've occasionally been disconnected and, have to say, HQ have sorted it out with reasonable speed once I reported it directly to them.

Hi there,

Thanks for alerting us to this.

We would invite anyone having trouble posting or logging in to get in touch with us by email [email protected].

Callistemon Wed 14-Jul-21 10:26:54

I didn't realise Iam64 wasn't able to post, thought she was just taking a break.

Doodledog thank you for letting us know, if I report my own post perhaps it will alert GNHQ.

NotSpaghetti Wed 14-Jul-21 10:24:56

I wondered where Iam was!
Please sort this @Gransnet HQ

Doodledog Wed 14-Jul-21 10:21:04

Iam64 is still unable to post. She has done all the obvious things - cleared her cache, reinstalled her browser, danced naked at midnight- all to no avail. She has contacted you but is no further forward.

The issue is not affecting her ability to post on other sites, including Mumsnet, which is even more mysterious.

Can you help her please? Her posts are missed, and her neighbours are complaining about the crowds that are gathering every midnight.
