changing username (again)

I changed from fennel to marmite a few months ago after I mistakenly lost it by clicking on on one of those linksfor addons.
now i would like to go back to fennel, with a number, which I've seen others do.
How do I start? Can't remember what I did last time.

Oh, I didn't realise fennel/marmite!

I was Callistemon but had a PC glitch and re-registered as Calistemon. It irritated me because it was spelt wrong.
So I deleted my account and re-registered immediately as Callistemon21.
It worked for me.

Ps you can't change your username; although it says there is an option to do that it doesn't work.

You have to delete your account and start again.

I left Gransnet for a few years and came back with different name. However I had someone making a nuisance of her self posting nasty comment directed at me, so I just didn’t come on for some months, when I did, I used another name but she was still there with a different name saying the same things to others. I don’t like the one I have so would like to change it back, but will wait awhile.
