I got one recently, but I never get PMs as a rule.

Do you mean notifications by e-mail?

Obvious question, but have you tried logging out and back in again.
Also, have you cleared your interest history?

A while ago, a poster couldn't get into GN, it turned out they had never cleared their cache.
In fact it has reminded me, I haven't done it for ages!

This has happened to me on occasion; when I’ve looked at my settings it is because I’ve unwittingly unticked the ‘receive email notifications’ box.
Check your pm settings Kitty
