As a desktop user - I agree.

I know it's not difficult to scroll past the Games threads, but it is very irritating and I really don't understand why there cannot be a separate forum for all of them.

I'm sure it's not a hard thing to do, but for some reason GNHQ are reluctant to do it.

I fully understand that some people really enjoy the Games. They seem to be popular at night. But… it’s the minority, the same user names occur. Please respond to us GNHQ. I have been a member of GN since the beginning, there were no Games for some years.
Re Competitions, I really enjoyed the books I won! No more, alas.

I don't know why GN don't just change the title of the Competitions section to Games. There's never any competitions these days so the space could be filled up with the games threads ? Or is that me being too logical/simplistic ?

Granted, I have hidden a handful permanently as the crop up, but not that many.

sometimes esp at night almost the whole of the active list is taken up with them.
i find it v annoying.
they are a different category, they are not free-ranging discussions like the proper subjects.
many of us are not interested in them.
wouldn't it help to have a separate games only section that did not clog up the active discussions list.

I literally hid 15 games threads yesterday - so annoying.

A separate thread wou1d be good. There are plenty of other sites on the web for games so don't understand why they should be on here.

I think that if you swap over the the mobile site you can hide them, and then go back to desktop.
I know that others have done that

Hiding only works on mobile site, I use a browser on my Ipad.

You can hide the games on the iPad- I do it all the time, as soon as I see them on Last Day.

I hide all the games as soon as a new one is started. (Only works on my iphone not on thr ipad))

Wishful thinking I’m afraid. I watch the ‘Active’ threads and there’s 15 on there!
