Site logging me out when trying to post

I am a newbie. Tried to make a new post, pressed 'Preview Conversation", then press "Create conversation", and I get the message "Please log in first".
Then I log in again, go through the same process, and I am back to square on, over and over again.
I have no problem with IT by the way, never came across this.

Welcome Rusbub - you have ‘created a conversation’ - well done - so, you can either carry on with this conversation, or start another topic, if you so wish.

Yes, I managed to post it on this page but still was not able to post in the House and Home forum.

After a few hours I tried pressing the button "Create conversation" again, and it finally worked.
I did not know programs could be so temperamental!

I always get that when I start a conversation. It says "Access denied". Just press "Start conversation" again and there it is!

To be sure noting gets lost, I take a copy of my post first, though!

By the way, I nearly always have to press"Post " twice before it registers, too. The button goes pale pink but nothing happens until I press it again.
