Big red non- advert!

How come only some get it, I haven’t, not that I want to, just curious I m on Ipad

I started on here this morning with no sign of it for a good five minutes thinking oh good, then bang, there it was.

I agree. It’s been going on for so long, and only on GN. I hope Jet2 isn’t paying them to allow this very intrusive advert,

The problem with the red screen is that there is no way you can get rid of it except refreshing your screen, if it had an X in the corner to dismiss it that would be preferable.

Yes, I get the Jet2 ad as well. I get the impression GN aren’t bothered.

I get the Jet2 one. I sent a report with screen shot to HQ ages ago but nothing has been done.

Still there this morning. Is GN going to do anything about it?

I’ve had it again this evening…

Red square is better than adverts. Mine shows a woman on the left without make up, and on the right made up. Sick of seeing her face. The other one I get is a bowl with beige goo and someone pouring in lemonade.

This has been going on for over a year now….. Do GN have a tech team???

I continuously refresh the page Lollin, clear cache, logoff/login, close down iPad and restart, it always sneaks back, it’s a right, royal pain.

It’s bloody annoying though. And only on GN.

Just discovered that it’s a red square if viewing in landscape as I usually do. If I view in portrait mode it’s the Jet2 ad. Still causes the same problem with reading posts though

Thanks for the information ekwanimitee I’ve just had the annoying big red block covering my view and turned to portrait so can see it is Jet2 as you said.

I refreshed the page and it went away Hope that helps someone. Good to know it’s nothing sinister.

Just had it again on forums, last hour screen.
