Annoying pop ups

Try using "clear browsing data" - on my phone it's in the top right and says "delete browser data.
Under the 3 dots

I had this problem ages ago but mercifully it didn't come back.

I sometimes find writing really annoying ,because the pop ups can wipe them out .

Any idea how to get rid of these? They block what I'm trying to read. Thus rendering GN forums useless. I know GN has to make money but deterring people from the site seems counterproductive.
