I was arrested for soliciting out side Victoria (London) station at 1am at the age of 15!!
I had no clue at that age what soliciting WAS I might add & was actually waiting for my Dad to get there from Surrey as I had been to see my Mum in Coventry & due to a problem with trains to Euston missed the connection home.
The policemen were actually lovely when they realised that my overnight case did NOT contain all sorts of 'equipment' & my VERY short mini skirt was my fashion statement. They took me into station master's office & got me a cup of tea.
It was all very exciting & I was talk of the school for weeks!!
Never told my sons-Mum had quite a good time as a teenager anyway & this might have made them wonder what I DID get up to.Hopefully they will never know!!

I once climbed out of my bedroom window when staying at my parents house as I heard a noise on the driveway about 3 in the morning &, as there had been a spate of car thefts in the area, I had to check that my Dad's car was ok. I saw someone crouched down in the front of Dad's car so immediately opened the window & started to climb out. As I was half in, half out, the person in the front looked up & I don't know who was more shocked as it was my Mum in the passenger seat. I just waved my arms to tell her it was ok & climbed back in through the window. When they came home they told me they had been to the airport to pick up my sister but they forgot to tell me. The funniest thing was that my mum asked me if I would have climbed out of the window if they had been real car thieves to which I replied ' Well I wasn't climbing out to wave you goodbye'. I've never lived it down &, as I'm now disabled, it's hard to believe that I would ever have been able to do that

My friend and I threw a huge of cauldron of tomato chutney over the Cookery class's teachers desk one lunchtime. We acted in revenge because the teacher excluded us from every single lesson as we didn't have the full ingredients as our mothers truly couldn't afford them and the teacher took that as a personal insult. It was not the time to be poor in those days. People would be kinder nowadays in that situation. We were very lucky not to have been caught and we knew the teacher guessed it was us but couldn't prove it. Still it seemed fair to us at the time being punished for something out of our control. I learned to cook very well without those lessons. I had to ..... I never had enough ingredients.

I stole daffodils from a graveyard and was chased by a gardener. I was imagining the police would look for me and I looked in the paper for days in case the crime got reported.

What a boring life someone must have if they have to make something up. At 16 I bought a matchbook filled with weed for five dollars from someone at school and smoked it in the bathtub in a old pipe of my fathers. My parents were out of town and I felt so free! I was at a girlfriends.Even at 16 I had to stay at a friends house and not alone.

I was 15. I told my mum that my boyfriend and I were going somewhere nearby. Instead we decided to hitch hike to Liverpool. (This was the 60s so a cool place to go.) Fortunately we got there and back safely without even being late home.

I cannot believe that I once went on a coach trip with my boyfriend (now hubby of 41 years) and my sister wearing a short green mini skirt, yellow t-shirt, yellow knee high socks, patent leather shoes with buckle and a hat! My hubby must have loved me even back then as we stayed together. What a sight I must have looked though!

I was with a boyfriend in his dad's car parked in the middle of a field. When we went to leave, the car had got bogged down and try as we may, we couldn't move the car. We flagged down a passing motorist, who fortunately had a tow rope to pull us out. Meanwhile the owner of the field turned up and we felt really bad about ruining his field. We offered to pay for the damage, but he told us that he was young once!

What made it all worse was that the car was in a bit of state, covered in mud, and my boyfriend said to his dad that he was only borrowing it to go to the gym. He had a lot of explaining to do when he got home and I had to make up a whooper as to why I was home late and missed my dinner.

When my cousin and I were at our Grandma's house we used to sneak into the dining room and sample all the bottles of spirits whilst hiding under the table. Generally we spat the contents back in the bottles, and enjoyed watching the family having a drink at family celebrations! We were about 9 or 10 at the time.

Perhaps not here because of a European ruling, but they are overseas as far as I know (but I will hope to be corrected).

In the sixties I once nearly set fire to the new Simon Engineering Laboratories at Manchester University when I left a film drying cabinet on with my wet swimming costume in over the weekend. I was so irresponsible that I was eventually asked to leave my job there. Later I reformed and became a teacher.

I hitch-hiked across Canada and back with my dog during an entire summer. True!

I used to bunk off school with my older friends and sit in a cafe having breakfast. Thought I was very grown up. Not big and not clever!

I was seeing my mums boss for 2 years when i was younger.. was a good secret, was far to scared to spill the beans on that one.. older man and all..when i went away for weekends my excuse was with friends.. little did my parents know :O

When I was 16 I was a studend training to be a riding instructor, there were about 6 other students of the same age all living in a cottage on the premises. One Saturday night we decided to go into London for a taste of the night life, but as I was learning to drive the land rover about the place I was nominated to pinch the said vehicle and drive the 15 miles to the centre of London. We all piled in and off we went with me at the wheel! I had never even driven on a road before. We had a great night, picked up a couple of hunky lads and arrived back safely at 2am.
I've never confessed to this daring adventure to anyone before, my children would be shocked. I do feel a bit ashamed especially as we were drinking miniature bottles of gin.
