In celebration of its annual competition –The Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards – Specsavers would like to hear all about your own spectacle wearing style icon.

Whether it’s a famous fashionista from days gone by or someone you know personally, Specsavers would love to know who you think wears or wore their specs with style!

On top of that, why not enter the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards yourself – or on behalf of your partner, children or grandchildren? Specsavers will be especially pleased to hear about any male relatives or friends that you think look great in glasses.

Here’s what Specsavers have to say about their competition: ‘The Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards is Specsavers' annual search for fabulous specs wearers of all ages. It has to be my favourite Harry Potter.He looked smart,cute and intelligent in those glasses.It suited him very well.

I'd like to suggest Jon Snow who I seem to have only recently noticed wearing glasses, but then perhaps I'm not very observant, but he certainly looks good in them!

Richard Osman wears his glasses with style, I think. There are so many great styles now, so different from when I started wearing glasses as a child and the choice was one style, in brown or pink!

When I think of spectacles, I think of John Lennon - a true icon. I myself had a pair of the signaure round glasses in my younger years, and loved them (I will have to dig them out for old times sake!)
